SANCTITY OF LIFE SUNDAY

January 21, 2024

Happy Baby

What is

Sanctity of Life Sunday?

Established in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan, Sanctity of Life Sunday honors the intrinsic value of every human made in the image of our divine Creator and purposed as His representative to all creation. Human life is sacred.

This guiding philosophy informs the Memphis Morning Center's medical practices. We seek the highest good of all people and recognize the value and dignity of life, whether in the womb or without.

During Sanctity of Life Sunday + beyond, will you join us under the banner of LIFE?

SUBJECT: Honoring Sanctity of Life: Support the Memphis Morning Center

Dear ____,

“For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb.14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”

Psalm 139:13-14 NKJV

This upcoming Sunday is Sanctity of Life Sunday. Established in 1984 by the Reagan Administration, Sanctity of Life Sunday honors the intrinsic value of every human made in the image of our divine Creator.

As a missions-driven church, we believe there is eternal value in working alongside local missions to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

Though there are many incredible life-affirming missions here in Memphis, today we’d like to highlight one that our church partners with—the Memphis Morning Center.

The Memphis Morning Center exists to provide FREE Jesus-centered prenatal and postpartum medical care to pregnant women in need. This care includes medical services, such as diagnostic ultrasounds, labs, and provider care. But they go further by seeking to treat the whole person, addressing the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and economic well-being of their patients, who never receive a bill. Their goal is the restoration of the family unit, through the transformative love of Jesus, one mom at a time.

An encounter with God's presence can transform generations of families, saving the lives of many unborn babies. We, as the church, have the power to foster these encounters.

Today, there are two ways that YOU can join our partnership with the Memphis Morning Center in honor of Sanctity of Life Sunday:

  1. PRAY | Pray LIFE over Memphis, for the restoration of families, and blessings for the current and future generations in Memphis - that they would know His love, joy, and peace.

  2. GIVE | Prayerfully consider partnering financially with the Memphis Morning Center. You can learn more about their mission at memphismorningcenter.org. CLICK HERE TO GIVE TODAY.

  3. SHARE | Spread the message and Connect like-minded individuals, community leaders, and business owners to the Morning Center.

  4. REP LIFE | Make a purchase from the Memphis Morning Center shop, where 100% of proceeds go back into their mission. CLICK HERE TO SHOP.

Thank you for continuing to champion LIFE in + over Memphis.
