SUPPORT WISDOM'S
INTERNSHIP JOURNEY
Wisdom Roberts is serving as an intern with the Morning Center this year, helping provide compassionate, Jesus-centered prenatal and postpartum care to the medically underserved in Memphis. She joined the team as our very first intern in October 2025, stepping into this season with a heart to learn, serve, and grow.
A recent high school graduate, she sensed the Lord’s invitation to give her time in this way, and we are so grateful she stepped out in faith and said yes.
Wisdom has been a beautiful addition to the Morning Center in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Her unique gifts and passions have blended seamlessly, and it’s clear God knew exactly what we needed. She is kind, genuinely wise, carries herself with grace, and brings a steady presence to everything she does.
We are better because she is with us., and we invite you to get to know her and to prayerfully consider partnering with her in this season.

Hi I'm Wisdom...
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this brief letter. You may already know this, but I’ve been volunteering at the Memphis Morning Center for the past several months. The Morning Center offers free, Christ-centered prenatal and postpartum care to mothers in need. My good friend and mentor, Pia Jo Reynolds, is the President / CEO and is currently helping me establish my role here as an intern. I’m writing this letter because we want my role to transition to a paid internship rather than simply my regular volunteer hours. As we work toward establishing the details of that plan, I’m writing to friends and family to ask for your support. I first got started here when the Lord highlighted Pia Jo and the Morning Center when I was praying about what's after high school. When I first met with Pia Jo, we both felt a peace about having me spend some time volunteering at the Morning Center and allow the Lord to open up whatever doors best fit for my ministry there. I began by simply shadowing others at the MMC and eventually settled into a role as Pia Jo’s personal assistant. Not only has our friendship grown and I’ve learned so much from her mentorship, but I’m growing more confident and learning so much from this ministry. Currently, my primary responsibilities typically include correspondence on behalf of the Morning Center. We send out regular thank you notes, updates, invites and testimonies to our sponsors and leaders throughout the greater Memphis community and across the United States. We realized recently that we have people linking arms with us from 48 states. I’m always amazed how extensive our reach is to caring and compassionate people across the country. The MMC receives no government funding for any of its services, which allows the ministry to freely share the love of Christ with no strings attached and a clear communication of the gospel to moms who need to know they’re loved. It also means that we are entirely dependent as a ministry on the giving and generosity of others to continue doing what we are so passionate about. With that same heart, I’m asking for your support as I raise money toward my own internship program with the MMC. Although we are only in the initial planning stages of it, we hope this internship paves the way for even more young, support-raised missionaries who are passionate about life to join this work. I’d love to be able to continue blessing the MMC as a self-funded intern who’s able to spend even more hours helping moms in need.
Please consider supporting me in this new and exciting journey with the Morning Center. As you pray for me personally, please ask the Lord for His continued guidance as I discover more of my role here. Please pray for the team at the Memphis Morning Center, whose daily tasks are certainly a labor of love, but one that often carries an emotional burden from investing so personally in mothers’ lives. And if you would be willing to support my internship financially as well, that would be amazing. Please see the link below to give a gift!
Thank you so much for your love and support. We’re looking forward to what God has in store for us and the women and babies we serve in the months and years ahead.
Every hour Wisdom serves directly impacts moms, babies, and families in marginalized communities, bringing them the love of Jesus and the medical care they might otherwise go without…
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with Wisdom during her internship? She has stepped into this season to serve with compassion, to grow in her calling, and to be a vessel of Christ’s love in meaningful, everyday ways.
When you give, you become part of what God is doing through her life and in the lives of those we serve. Your generosity helps create space for women and families to be seen, cared for, and reminded of their worth in Him as they receive the medical care they need. Every gift, whether one-time or ongoing, supports her as she serves wholeheartedly and works toward completing this season fully funded.
Thank you for being part of Wisdom’s team and for helping make this possible.
